PC Day 2

Prompt: Being underwater

It’s serene down here, looking up,

Seeing the world in foggy liquid glass.

It’s so chaotic up there, working hard,

Wasting time to never get it back.

I’m glad I made this choice,

Now I’m wading under water.

I’m sleeping better with ease,

My lungs adapt to the water.

I think I’ll grow a tale, become Ariel,

The princess of a new kingdom.

But I’m still holding my breath,

And now I’m becoming numb.
